I bought The Orange Box, but the key had previously been used.
Hello everyone! I recently bought The Orange Box on Amazon.
I bought it from a 3rd party Amazon licensed seller for a bit cheaper, and the condition was Brand New.
I got it, and was very excited to add it to my Steam library.
I entered the key, and it said it had previously been used.
It gave me the option to recover the account, but I would need access to the user.
I already contacted them and they let me keep the game and gave me a FULL refund, and i just want something to do with the game.
Is there any way I could get a new key?
Thanks, Peter.

You didin't buy the game from Steam, so you have to contact Amazon or the seller, nothing Steam can do.

Buy it via Steam then install it via the media.

Well, now you know why the seller sold it cheaper than Amazon was... because it was Used.

Beware buying used games. CD keys are single use, and cannot be reset.

How exactly did you waste money if the seller ended up giving you a full refund?
