Can not run steam in UDP mode
For the past couple of days I can not open steam using udp it only works if I use the -tcp mode which is pretty much useless since u can't play most games in that.. At first I thought it was some malware/virus which might have sneaked past me or something but I checked and there is nothing..
I have tried plugging my internet wire directly to my PC too still no use..

If other computers work in the same network (and/or your router hasn't been changed), then it's not a port forwarding question.

Try this: http://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/828935673158964273#c828936719140986153

It took some to login but it actually worked.. Thanks mate appreciate the help.
Hope everything else runs fine now and CS:GO actually connects to a server now.

I did not tried it on a different computer I will do that in a bit.
I had no firewalls or anti virus when the problem started, I even had the system firewall turned off.
I scanned my pc with malware bytes and Avast but both were just installed yesterday meanwhile the problem came up 3-4 days ago..

You answered 3 out of 4. (Technically 2.)

What about this?:

What about this?

What changed hardware- / softwarewise since the problem started 3-4 days ago?

Like I said I did not have Avast and Malwarebytes when the issue started.. I just got them last night to check for some malwares which might have gotten in.. No changes when this issue started though.. If the problem is with due to them I will uninstall them tomorrow after I run a Full Scan to get rid of some of the bad leftovers..
I tried it on a different computer and it gave same problem even though after retrying a few times it logged in automatically but did not work the next time I logged in...
I don't think the problem is with my PC, I think it might be related to my network and/or steam.

Avast and Malwarebytes aren't the only items in that list; so are you saying you've got nothing else that's in that list? No, they're not the reason it happens.

If the other computer had the same issue, then it's likely an issue on your router's end, yes.
That, or the two computers have a 3rd party firewall that blocks access; which is unlikely.

I have some of the apps from the "Other Applications" list but they have never interfered with steam ever and most of them are actually not even running most of the time and the article never said that they should be completely uninstalled..
I don't know about the firewalls of the other computer as I rarely use that, I might look into the firewalls of that..I don't really touch the router's settings too.

EDIT: Another breakthrough.. I was just able to connect using a diff account even though it gave some errors before logging me in.. I think something is going ham and just decides to let me connect every once in a while :|
