Is it possible to re-install a game without losing my progress

My skyrim wont open and i have tried verifying data but nothing happened. i dont want to do anything else incase i lose my progress

Skyrim uses cloud saving, so your save file is stored on the server. Even if you uninstall, you won't lose your progress.

Even if you install a game you won't lose your saves. The saves for the games are either cloud saved or also in most of cases in "C:\Users\*name*\Documents".

In Skyrim case is cloud saving. I installed and uninstalled 100 times and it still loaded my progress from last time I played before uninstalling.
