Steam is constantly forgetting my browsers... and this time it's almost sad.
So I was just selling a few things on the market (From my inventory) And then instantly, my steam logged itself out, (I'm in Windowed steam, not on the web) and tells me I'm logging in on a new device/long time since I've logged in... I have steam guard on and have not received any email saying I've been logged in from another place, my email and password are still the same, everything is still the same, but it just keeps doing this and it's preventing me from trading (I don't want to remove Steam Guard, I want to remain 100% safe) every now and then. Is there anything I can do (But disable Steam Guard) to prevent this?

I had this issue when my history/cookies were being deleted, the system recognizes you it as using a new device every time you do it.

If you delete cookies, Steam will forget your browser.

Don't delete the Steam cookies, and if you use a program like CCleaner, then make sure to add Steam as an exception to your cookie cleaning.

That's the thing, I don't clean history or cookies, and I have Norton (♥♥♥♥) and I have it so it doesn't clean cookies. It just randomly happened when I had nothing open but Google Chrome.

Configure your sweeper apps to keep cookies for trusted sites. Like CCleaner and/or others. Even Spybot S&D likes to suggest wipes of any browser history, cookies and such; so with any scanner/sweeper apps, always look to uncheck what you don't want to clear before you do it. Apps like CCleaner and similar have multiple tabs and settings u might not know are there. Understand the app and it's settings before you dive into it without thinking what it's clearing out.

Also don't forget about "Session" for Firefox, Chrome or others. If this is wiped, it can happen also.

Never disable SteamGuard, besides that if you do u will never be able to Trade or use Market anyways. And don't save your Steam Credentials on any shared computers. Course it's best to just not login to Steam on shared systems or other sensitive accounts, period. Especially if u are un-sure of how secure that shared system might be.
