"A game on your wishlist is on sale!"
I don't have no mobile app or iOS or anything like that, does it tell me in the Steam program for Microsoft Windows 8.1 PC operating system?
• Register at a game-deal website, set up price parameters, send email notice to google account.
• Set up google to notify you (by sms) whenever an email comes in from that game-deal website.
It's a round-about method, but it worked fine in my pre-smartphone days!
I can go a long time between email checks, myself … It's handy to use google sms notifications to know if a family-member/close-friend sent me something.
I do think I've seen a few of those What's New -windows display if something from my wishlist is on sale, but they don't come up all the time (mostly when you quit the game), so I wouldn't rely on them.
