450 DPI with 2 sensitivity the same as 900 DPI with 1 sensitivity in Global Offensive?
I know a lot of pro gamers in Global Offensive start with a low DPI and then increase the in-game sensitivity to get a true sensitivity value. If you have a pretty good mouse (I have a Sensei RAW), is it the same effect if I set my DPI toggle to 900 DPI and call it a day with 1.0 in-game sensitivity?

My other hardware is pretty decent (8 core CPU, 16 GB RAM, SSD, Nvidia GTX 970 at 1080p) so I am running 1000 hz polling rate as well in Linux and Windows. That's why I am curious if I would get more accuracy with 450 DPI and then play with sensitivity considering that seems to be the way.

Or these gamers are used to playing this way for 10+ years and there is no difference between the two settings. What do you think?

Having a higher mouse sensitivity and a lower in game sensitivity should be smoother, but the games do a lot behind the scenes to smooth it out anyway.
