can i continue / resuming download preload games after launching day?
as title say.. i was downloading preload games right now, in this case is gta v, and i have very slow internet connection, and i believe that i will finish my download after the game was unlocked, maybe 2 or 3 days after..
my question is.. will my download reset itself into zero again and started from beginning again at launch day? or can i safely resume and continue my download and after finish, steam will automatically unlocked / decrypted my preload files?

I'd assume it will resume, since pre-load is the same thing as downloading the actual game without it decrypting certain files.

Alot of people are of course pre-loading GTAV, so expect that download in particular to be slower then your connection might allow for.

No it won't restart from 0 again. On launch date when your region is allowed, upon launching Steam (or if already running) then GTAV should auto-update with a small update that unlocks the game.

Of course u can re-download or resume at a later time. Once u have purchase a Steam game, you can re-download/re-install at any time, using the Steam Client.

thanks for answering. i know i can re-downloading my games as much i wanted and steam will not restricted it at all. but for preloading game, i see the file structure is different from original game (like in rockstar warehouse).. and this is what i want to ask..

i was downloading preload files which different structure (depotcachexxx etc..) not like original files (exe, dll, readme files).. nah.. what i was afraid of is..
will steam will automatically convert / decrypted all depotcachexxx files into exe and it's original content at launch day, and i can safely continue my download (maybe at 50%), and will not reseting my previous download to lower start or maybe from begining again? or maybe it will continue as like that before (depotcachexxx thing) and keep downloading it until 100%, and steam will automatically decrypted my content after finish it?

sorry for too many questions.. this is my first time for this 'preload games thing' and my first time too for downloading a very big size games.. because my internet provider is so slow and if i have to restart again.. my effort will be wasted for good.. :-(
