(I vaguely remember coming across a tutorial somewhere telling me to move some of the dll distributed with WiinUPro, but I can't remember where that thing was... The readme isn't very helpful as all it says is exactly the same thing as what's in the video, however, I can see that 2 out of the 5 dll are named vJoyInterface.dll and vJoyInterfaceWrap.dll ... Being naive, I suppose these are functions that will "interface" what's captured by WiinUPro and feed it to a vJoy joystick, which, one would hope, is exactly what we need when we try to calibrate our vJoy... But I might be getting the whole thing wrong... either way, that doesn't solve anything...)
edit : what I found was actually that
but what it's doing (see the very end of the video, first bit is just setting up the toshiba bt stck) is copying some Xinput.dll in the install folders of each apps, which is definitely non ideal...(also i didn't try it so I don't even know if it works)
edit 2 : I found that I was using vJoy 205, but as suggested here http://vjoystick.sourceforge.net/joomla256.02/index.php/forum/4-Help/882-problems-with-wiinupro#2069 using vJoy 204 worked for me (and I think that's also what's used in the first video posted). One would think this is the end of it :D But I am now unable to set up hings correctly in Steam Big Picture Mode... That's probably just me being technologically challenged...
final edit :
I am using my Wii U pad pro as an Xinput (I understand this stands for Xbox input) rather than a vJoy device now : rather than vJoy + WiinUPro, I used this :
The toshiba bluetooth stack is still the only one that will connect to my Wii U Pad pro though, so I kep it. Otherwise, I can now use it with steam big picture and have been able to play dmc fine with it so far.
