Can both, me and my husband play the same game on different accounts?
My husband and I were thinking of buying Elder Scrolls Online. Obviously we would want to be able to play together. But we don't want to have to buy two copies for our separate computers. IS there any way to do that?

This was what we were thinking:

We buy it on my account. I install it on my pc, then sign in on his, and install it there.
Then he would sign into his own steam account on his pc, and I would sign into my account on mine to play together..

But can he play the game with his own account if I purchased it through my account?

It'll be tied to the Steam account you bought it on. Same goes for retail too, if you buy it on disc, it'll be tied to the cd-key.

Sorry guys, you need two copies to play together.

You can Family Share each others Libraries to share the game but only one of you can play at a time.

Man, that sucks. They need to come out with some sort of family purchase price for online games nowadays. I mean back in the day, if you bought a game, everyone in your home could play it. Now with everything online, you can't anymore. Buying it twice full price just isn't reasonable for one household. :(

And our daughter would likely want to play too, that would be 3 at full price, that is crazy..

Ah well, thanks for the fast responses.

I feel your pain. We spent many evenings/weekends with LAN games, they killed those a few years ago.
