Issue with recording games

When i record a game with fraps or dxtory the size of a 1 min video is over 1GB, i dont know much bout recording & editing so any help to make the file as small as possible without affecting quality would be apreciated

Try recording on an external storage device i.e a flash drive.

But to be serious when I used fraps, It never took a hold of much space (And I did around a half hour of recording) so it might depend on the fraps that you use, I can give you a link of where I got mine and see if it works differently.
