Steam can't connect since Tunnelbear

Since i installed Tunnel bear i keep getting conection errors. Even after i uninstalled it. Tried to repair the steam but it seems Tunnelbear made some configuration that messed up my network. The only way i get to connect is through tunnelbear, in any of its supported countries but none of wich is my own (Brazil).

Steam does not officially support VPNs. Try this for resetting your Internet settings:

Thank you Moeroris, somehow, just now, it started working again. Perhaps some of the stuff i tried yesterday finally took effect, have no way of knowing. It simply asked for a password as if i was connecting through a new machine and logged. I used tunnel bear to access region restricted content in my browser but failed to remeber steam was still on.
