Steam Using the Old Icon
Hey guys,

Last night, when I launched Steam, I got an error along the lines of "you must install the Steam client." Seeing this, I deleted the .dll files in the Steam directory, downloaded the installer, and reinstalled it.

However, even though it's working, Steam is still defaulting to the old icon:

How could I change this?

Thanks,

Mysterious Stranger

You mean the launcher is using the old icon?

Website to the Steam Store page isn't exactly opening up what you mean to me.

Sorry, formatting error there. I changed it:

And yes, the launcher is, as well as the icon of Steam in the taskbar.

You could fetch the new .ico file as your icon from the
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\public\steam_tray.ico
though.

That, or try to make a new shortcut out of the Steam.exe; if its icon is displaying correctly.
