can you get banned for trolling? like can you get suspended for taking stuff way to far? :p

You'll most likely get a warning the first time. If you continue then you'll probably be banned. It's up to the mods though.

Yeah, you'll end up with a green notification and it'll be called Community Moderation Messages.

Like I said, it's up to the mods. Really you shouldn't need a warning if you've read the rules.

yes you can

Multiple repeat offenses can get you perma-banned from the discussions or even community banned. As you rack up offenses you likely wont get warnings. Your previous offenses were the warnings.

About trolling or messing in-game?
Are you talking about on the forums/community, or in a game? Either way, it's not worth the risk to try and "test the limits" just to be a @#$% to someone. Be polite and treat others with respect and you'll do better.
