What Do I Do I was just Scammed!!!!
So I was on youtube looking for a knife giveaway and thats when it happened. This guy was giving away a karmbit damascus steel and he said who offer the skin worth most will get it. I didnt see the knife in his inventory so i asked and he said he had 2 accounts and this one did not have the knife, the other one did. Then I waited till the giveaway was done and I won! SO i gave him my ak and laminate because he said that I could scam him easy if we traded knife and gun skin at same time. Next thing I know he blocks me and unfriends me! Then I added his friends to tel him to give me the knife and laminate I deserve but they said that he said no except one who says if i give him a seven to 10 dollars skin he will get me laminate back and knife. ONe problem I'm poor and I have o idea what to do. Does the knife exist or not? will i get laminate back or not? and this guy was even nice to me but i dont know his other account and he migh have blocked me on that accont too.

You gifted away your item in what was a blantant scam. You wont get your item back because you didn't use the protected trading windows provided. Also using real money for deals is against the Steam ToS.

Learn from your mistake and move on with your life. You more or less did everything Steam advises against doing and now you have had this happen.

For future reference. Only use the in client trading. If you've checked the forums or been around steam for a while you'll notice that like 80% of scams make use of 'gifting' because it is an unproitected interface. I.e. it's an interface that is not built around 'Exchange' as opposed to one way transactions.

If someone you're trading with say you need to send it as a Gift. Just end the conversation right there.
