HELP! Used to have low ping. Steam games only.
I know that there are lots of people asked about this before. I have read those problems and how to fix, but none of those work. The thing is I used to have around 40ms, but one day, the game just skyrocket up to 300+ and I just don't know what to do. I tried wait it out, not working. I tried Tcp something in regedit, not working. The thing is I can play any other non-steam games just fine. I only get high ping with steam games e.g. DOTA2 & CSGO. Any help would be very nice, I love the game, but I can't enjoy the game with such ping :(

Ty for the comment.
I checked my ping with your 1st given link. All servers are above 200+. Any tips to reduce those nasty unpleasant numbers?

First try to ping your router, it should be something like 192.168.0.1 then ping Google (8.8.4.4 and 8.8.8.8). This way you should be able to see if the latency is local or not.

If your router is slow to respond try rebooting it, if the problem is with the external network, you will have to call your ISP.

Ty for the comment. I checked my router. It's fine. I tried pinging google, working just normal as well, but then I tried pinging steam server. I got like 300+ms in SEA server even though I'm in Thailand :(

Change your location settings in Steam. I think it tries to connect to servers that are too far away. Also some games will use the location provided by windows or have there own setting for this. By connecting to server that are closer to you, you should have a better ping.
