Game takes up more rom than advertised on the system requirements page
I just downloaded shadowrun dragonfalls directors cut, and the store page said it takes 2 gigs of rom but after installing it is actually closer to 7, does anyone know why, is it due to compreshion or what? I have plenty of space for it but I would like to know why it is triple the amount of space that was said on the game store page.

The game requires your computer to have at least 2gbs of ram, This is not hard drive space.

edit-- the minimum requirements are 2gb hard drive. You'll need more than that in real terms.

wrong it says hard drive space reqiurement is 2 gigs which is ROM not Ram

thats just for the base game probably , but you have the DLC too.

These are minimum requirements. So your 2gb of hard drive space is the minimum amount. You actually need a lot more.

that makes some sense but I thought the game was a standalone I did not download anything for the workshop

it also comes with tools like the editor.

you actually dont though if I told you the minium amount I would take for a car is a 1000 dollars, but when you showed up I actually said it was going to be 6,000 you would be like than your minium amount was wrong or a lie

no I just believe that there should be accuracy and it makes me think its downloading stuff I do not want or need I have a huge hard drive, but reason my computer is old yet runs so fast is bc I keep it clean and pristine, my friend's computer barely runs bc he has so many games and other useless stuff installed that it takes him a while to even watch a youtube video, and my computer is 2 yrs older than his
