You can create a new Steam Library folder on your new drive and make sure the games are there too.
Steam -> Settings menu. Downloads Tab, under "Content Libraries".
ill try this out. that would work most likely. sounds like it would anyway.
What do you mean by "not showing up in your Library"?
Are they not there at all, or are they just not showing installed?
Once you copy a game over to the SteamApps folder correctly you must either launch the game and Steam will discover the files again, or you try to install the game and Steam should find the files installed already (as long as they are in the correct place).
The games are not showing installed. I have the option to install the game only. Once I do that, it continues to download even though i have the content there. The directory is correct too.
You can try running the game from the folder directly, if it requires Steam, a pop up should appear about it.
Also, are you sure it's downloading, and not just discovering everything?
Alright thanks. "Discovering files" for age of empires. Thanks for the quick help!
