Missing steam folder in Program Files / (x86)

Hi. On my computer, I'm missing my Steam folder in Program Files / Program Files (x86). I've tried reinstalling Steam and EVERYTHING! I just want my steam folder!!! (The one with SteamApps in it)

Please leave me a way I gan get it back.

Are you sure you didnt set the folder as "hidden" by accident? Google "how to see hidden folders in Windows 7 or 8" (depending what OS you have). It will give you a step by step on how to view folders which are set as hidden.

Right click on any game in your steam library, go to properties > local files and find 'browse local files' button.

It will take you where all games are installed. And that should also be a steam folder by default.

I dragged Counter-Strike Source for Gmod in there and it didn't work.

How many hard drives do you have? For example I have 4 hard drives, but my Steam folder is not in the X86 folder, but stored on another hard drive entirely.

Another thought, have you tried searching "SteamApps" from your start menu search function?

For me its not in my Program Files but in a different map. i dont know if thats a problem.

Mine is under my extra storage unit (E:) (But the letter can be different just not C:. And I found my Garrys mod under SteamLibarary > steamapps > common, then 3 of my games are in their including Garrys mod. I know this is old but just in case people see this and are also having trouble finding it
