CS:GO's M Rating
Why is CS:GO rated M? I understand that it has blood and frequent killing and all, but aren't there T-rated games just as bad? I really don't understand o.O From what I've heard, it sounds like the game is rated M mostly because they wanted a mature community, much less because of the violence and blood. Is that true?

ESRB makes the rating, not Valve.

No, it's not true.

Pretty much every online FPS (CoD, all of them, CS:GO, TF2, BF Hardline, BF 3, 4, ) gets rated M for Mature.

It's probably not so much the game itself as the community. They can get pretty toxic. A CSGO or DOTA2 server is no place for a 6 year old.
