Uplay not Showing Games from Steam [with fix]

So I had a problem with Far Cry 3(purchased in Steam) and Uplay

There was lots of comments and discussions about this issue.

The problem: At Uplay software there was no trace of Far Cry 3 and no chance of playing it just from steam. It also apears a messenge ''Could not connect to Server" or something like that.

Solutions found in the research:

1 - Problem with Host file at c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc
You problem would be solved if you had it deleted and Restarted your pc. Many comments saying it solved the problem hope it works for you.

2 - Firewall Problems, people had it solved after unblocking it or allowing free run, I have Kaspersky I.S.2015 so I tried this too, but still not solved.

3 - Uplay Network Settings, some people had it solved after unmarking the 2 items in this option:
Always start uplay in offline mode.
Allow uplay to use a proxy connection to access the internet.
I tried, had it marked to use proxy connection, so had it unmarked and restarted pc,still not worked.

So I was in the last option to do, uni. and reinstall the software, but I thought ''Let's install overwriting it."
Totally unexpected it worked, there was a new look at the launcher, the game was there and ready to play.

The problem should be something about uplay that was installed by steam and couldn't update the Uplay and just like you are thinking I didn't play it about an year.
