what are gems for?
i was just woundering what gems are acualy for it says you can trade acheavments but what are they for (i know i mispelled ALOT but dont comment on it)

You can use them to create booster packs. Go to your badges page and click Booster Pack Creator.

Hey,Steam gems are earned by converting the items in your steam inventory: Cards-Backgrounds-Emoticons.

They are used for only three things:
1- Bid for games in the auction (the auction ended and is not available anymore).
2- Use gems to craft booster packs.
3- Sell them in Market (you need 1000 gems for this).

- Gems themselves are tradable,they can be packed/unpacked into "gem sacks" which represent 1000 gems, and are both tradable and marketable.
