No Add to Cart Button (Just for 2 Games)
I really wanted to purchase this game (Rise of Nations)
but i could not... so i waited for weeks but the result is the same

The weird thing is that the 'Add to Cart' button was there few months ago

Its just Rise of Nations and Age of Empires 2 that has this problem.

Steam could you please find a solution for this problem?
I really want to play these two legendary games once again..

Thank you

Odd, I see them here.
Do you see the Add to Cart buttons if I add the two games on the forum -side?:

They're both published by Microsoft, so it could be related to something on the publisher & geolocation side.

They both come up as

Error
Unable to load infromation about this item.

I do not like where this is going....
I really want those classics!!

Sounds like a region issue, but the starting question seemed to imply you could still access the Store -page earlier; just not see the Buy -button?

Does the issue persist on the web-browser; or Steam Mobile -app?

If so, you may want to contact Microsoft and ask them.
Send them e-mail to this address: AoEpress@microsoft.com

P.S. Do correct me if I'm wrong with my first statement.

I thought it was a regional issue also, but other games that had regional issues
such as the 'total war series' would not let me enter the page at all.

With a message like
Oops, the region you are in is not supported...

I just don't see the buy button and that is it.
The issue seems to be on the web browser, never tried the mobile app

But thank you for the help!

That's what I was thinking too.

Could you try this:

  1. Open up your web-browser
  2. Enter http:// store.steampowered. com/app/ 221380 <- Remove the spaces
  3. Press F12 and type in
    javascript:addToCart( 50789);
    and hit Enter.
  4. Enter http:// store.steampowered. com/app/ 287450 <- Remove the spaces
  5. Type in this javascript on the webconsole:
    javascript:addToCart( 50791);

See if it does it.

When i search for it on the webconsole it says that
its 'undefined'

they must be having some regional issues...
There goes another game out the window
Rise of nations...sigh

But thank you again!

Sorry I couldn't be of any help further.

You may contact Microsoft and inquire them about the issue:

It applies for both the games.
