Installing elderscroll online : Tamriel Unlimited from ESO CD

i have very slow internet connection to download elderscroll online : tamriel unlimited it takes more than 4 days to download the game. so i use to copy the elderscroll online (not tamriel unlimited) game from my friends CD. it work perfectly with my steam CD key, and also updating to tamriel unlimited. the question is, does it possible to copy my ESO:TU to my steam? i want to play in steam because my payment method are connected with steam.

i have try to copy the file from ESO:TU to my steam download folder, and i also edit my appmanifest_306130 but it still doesnt work. does anybody can help? sory for my english

Your friend would need the ESO: TU as well, so his files would work for you.

The Elder Scrolls Online was APP-ID 313720
The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is APP-ID 306130

You can't just modify the .acf's number and expect it to work.

yeah, i have edit the "BytesToDownload" "BytesDownloaded" and another i think it possible, on my steam, i click to play, but it started to download like nothing happen. :\

That's regular non-Steam version to regular Steam version.

What you're trying to do is a regular Steam version to Tamriel Unlimited Steam version, no?

Err.. I'm not following.

So do you now have a Tamriel Unlimited CD that you're trying to copy the files to your Steam installation of Tamriel Unlimited with?

Either way, do note that the game has likely either way updated since the game got golden (got printed on disc), so either way you will end up having to download files. (Doubtfully as much, but just saying.)
