Community "Ban"? (ex-post from Steam Support Forums)
Recently, I haven't been able to upload non-game related artwork. Apparently, this has been an issue regarding a withstanding "community ban" on my account, but I haven't gotten any email indicating that my account has been community banned in any way. Aside from that, I also don't have any indication of a ban or have received any indication of a community ban; usually the red banner seen on Steam clients that indicate steam community bans.

Aside from the "hidden" ban that I may have, I would like to know if it has any correlation with not being able to upload artwork or upload screenshots to my steam profile (unable to upload sometime in December 2014).

Attached is a screenshot of the error message I get when trying to submit artwork. Regarding content bans, the last ban I've had on submitted user content was in March of 2014, and even after, I was able to upload artwork.

It would be much appreciated if this issue was taken into light. Thank you.

If a content item (like a screenshot or artwork) is banned, then it restricts you from uploading new content for a period of time. This is unrelated to a community ban. See the later half of the message in your screenshot.

I understand this, but the last banned screenshot I've had was back in March of 2014 - http://puu.sh/gLNcw.png

Any idea whether there may be a hidden "ban" placed on my account? I can't upload artwork, and before that I've had issues where I can't even upload screenshots.

EDIT: Would you also happen to know what the duration for my ban is? I haven't recieved any notice about a given ban or whatever duration it may have been.

Yes, you are banned from uploading content to the community. But it's not hidden at all. Look at the picture you included in your post... "or you had some content recently banned"

Apologies for the confusion, but is there a noted time when this ban is lifted?
I think it's 1 day for every banned item or something like that. Looks like you got 461 banned items (how's that even possible??), so you can't upload for 461 days.
Wow. That's impressive.

That's odd, I only have 9 artwork banned (mainly because irrelevant content uploaded to other game hubs before the non-game related artwork feature was introduced), and the rest are screenshots from from music videos I've taken back in 2011-2012 that got recently banned for no reason.
Like I said, I don't really know how the upload restriction duration calculation works. I just know it factors in the amount of items that were previously banned. Support might be able to tell you when the ban expires.

I'm looking through my screenshots now, and the ones that are banned or withdrawn from my gallery are screenshots ive taken several years ago, and they aren't NSFW or contain any adult content.

EDIT: Again, sorry for the confusion, but with how support runs, it won't be a while til I get a response from the support desk. I already sent a ticket so I'm waiting for a response.

Thank you fo your consideration on the matter though.

Thing is you don't really have to contact support. Just try uploading an item in the future. If it allows the upload, then the restriction is gone. Otherwise it's not. Support is just gonna say then same thing I said--that is, you can't upload content due to previous bans. There's not much to discuss on the topic. The system is pretty cut and dry how it works.

Ah, alright. Just one more thing though, is there any reason why I was able to still upload artwork for months after I wasn't able to upload screenshots, but until recently I haven't been able to upload?

There probably is a reason, but I don't know what that reason is/was.

is it possible to know the date when you are able to upload them again ?

I think it is right what you say. Is it a kind of copyright?

461 banned items?!:wat_creep:
You used an uncensor patch for something and posted screenshots, didn't you?
