If on mondays new sales come in the supermarket, could you buy for that price on saturday and friday allready?
Depends on what laws that applies to the country you live in I guess.
But good customer care would be to refund (the difference) everyone who bought the game 14 days prior to the decrease in price.
Not going to happen. You pay what you feel is fair at the time. You need a little help with taking responsibility for your actions.
How would've I had known this? Amazon has a policy to refund you something if you buy it and it changes prices within a certain period of time. They do it automatically without having to even ask.
But what with people who bought it 15 days ago?
Why selling the item anyway for the original price?
Depending on what country you live in, you can infact demand to be refunded the difference.
But it depends on the product also.
I'm a A+ customer who spends like crazy and I would just like a little personal service. These massive sales that get lots of attention are always bound to leave a bitter taste in the mouth of those who pay full price.
Again we're talking 48 hours here, not weeks.
In this case you have to complain to the publisher.
I agree with everything you're saying, but again we're literally talking hours. Not weeks here. And Amazon has already set the standard for customer service in this regard. I wouldn't be asking Valve to do anything that their own competition doesn't do.
The ironic thing is i've only played the game for 10 minutes lol.
Like the season pass of bioshock infinite for 4,95 long ago.
Whenever i buy something i ask this question:
Am i fine with this price no matter what happens later?
That saves you from bad experiences.
I will make it even easier for Valve, I dont even care if they match the entire sale price, just credit me $5 or $10 or something as a sign of caring a little bit.
