Game is downloading slow as ass
My game im currently downloading is taking FOREVER. This is nothing on my part since i have 350 GB of space available.

Right now my average speed is 258 KB per second. The game takes 9 GB of space so its gonna take at least 5 freakin hours.

Normally i download at a speed at around 1 MB. Why am i having troubles now?

Do you have other applications downloading in the background? Could be something like your firewall/antivirus, Windows update, etc. If you share Internet it could also be someone else downloading. Finally, you could try pausing it and changing the download region.

I have no other programs running so far. Also for the region thing, what region do you suggest i connect to?

On a side note, TF2 has 15 GB of space needed to download. I downloaded that game in less than 30 minutes. Now this 9 GB game is the one giving me trouble?

The file size shouldn't be related to the download speed, just your connection to the server. Try to pick one that is close to your physical location.
