Skyrim lags horribly every few minutes

Hey all,
I installed skyrim on my new budget PC build (ill list specs soon), and it runs fine on medium settings. However every few minutes after playing for a while it will lag like a mother and it stops after about 30 seconds take or give. But I am playing on medium, and it runs fine otherwise. My GPU is and older Nvidia Geforce 9500gt 512 mb vram. Ive got 4 mb DDR2 (my mobo also has ddr3 slots so I can upgrade) an AMD Athlon II x3 450 tri core CPU 3.20 ghz, and a old SATA laptop HDD. I do have some mods too, if those matter.

A mainboard with DDR2&3 slots? Doubtful.
You may have better success by posting in the discussion hub of the game you are talking about.

Its a cheap asrock AM3+ motherboard. It does too. I bought it so I could be a cheap ass and use my old C2D's ram.

Try messing around with the game graphic settings.

Turning Vsync on and off, switching Anti-Aliasing settings (and sampling, idk if it has sampling), etc.

If that doesn't fix anything, try disabling some mods and see if it could be a mod.
But why mention mods if you won't post them :P. Post the mods you use pls.

But actually I just read that you have 4mb DDR2. Did you mean 4gb or do you actually have 4mb? xD If you have 4mb...you need to update ASAP lol.

Yeah, sorry about that. I meant 4gb. I do have 4 mb ram on my old amd386 but thats a whole nother story. The mods, well, they're kind of...adult. You sure I should post them?

I don't see any harm being caused :P

Skyrim is a mature game anyway. But if anything, just use google or the mods main hub/site and ask around or figure out if anyone else has had the issue or if it's known for that specific mod.

Try disabling the enhanced camera, and see if that helps. That's the only mod that I can see that might cause this.

Also, don't feel weird. My modlist is far, far worse, trust me.
