need help (System)

i have gta san andreas on cd and i instaled it a few weeks ago and the first thing i did is change resolution and since then my game does not display and ive tryed finding the setting on my desk top and with no luck im supposed to find a folder thats not even there have tryed to reinstall but with no luck just got this new pc and its win8 and i dont understand it at all. any help would be great

My best guess is your monitor does not support the resolution or refresh rate the game is trying to display at. With the game open, you can try hitting ALT+Enter. That should change it to Windowed mode. From there you can tweak the graphics settings.

2. Launch the game again

Tried to alt+enter does nothing also i dont seem to have a my games folder in my directory.

Went To that directory and there only is a SAMP folder Whitch is empty

when i turn the game on i can navigate the menu any chance some one can write a combo (up enter up up) ect ect .to reset settings i know theres a option like that in the menu but ive been trying for days now to play this gem

i played gta:sa years ago and one day it did the same thing , i do believe it can have issues with newer drivers , but i do remember ther is a player made patch out there that fixes the problem , there's a gta forum that has all that stuff

any chance i could get a link ?
