i7-4710mq
Hi, im pretty new to pc gaming. I have been eyeing up the witcher 3 for some time now , it looks awsome. im not sure if my system meets the requirements or not. Any assistance or advise would be much appreciated. I own an Alienware 17, i7-4710mq 2.5ghz/3.5ghz(turbo) nvidia 880M 8gb gddr5 , system ram 8gb. Also is there a safe way to boost the base 2.5ghz as i have been on the "can i run it" sites and my cpu doesnt seem up to the job. Any feedback welcome as im a noob. cheers

I have the 4810 i-7 2.8ghz turbo to 3.8 and a nvidia 870m and I can run pretty much any game I throw at it. No one can give you a definitive answer until the game comes out. You'll be able to make an educated guess once they release the final requirements, but I'd bet you should be able to play it.

It aslo told me i couldnt run assassins creed unity but ive got that running on ultra at ave 30-38 fps and if i lower a few settings im getting 40-50. but that is with msxx x 4 or x2 it stutters its balls off x8

Yeah I think most of them play on the safe side because no one wants to be blamed for someone buying a game their rig can't play. I find notebookcheck.net gives me the closest numbers I personally get.
