CS 1.6 huge lags in smoke

I've been playing on nonsteam cs before and i never had this problem. Smoke grenades seem to drop my fps so much and it makes no sense cause my laptop is pretty decent. Any fix to this? My laptop specs:
Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M
Intel(R) Core i7-4710HQ up to 3.50ghz
RAM: 8GB
HDD:1TB
Windows 7
The game was recently purchased lowering the quality didn't seem to change much.

i have this problem, idk if that is in my ♥♥♥♥ pc XD but as i can see you have good pc so that mean thats not problem in my pc (mby :D)
