AMD cards tend to run idTech games better than Nvidia. But I have no issue playing it with my 690.
Don't be so harsh. Sure controls could be better, but why do you think that games is bad itself? It's great oldschool experience, without 'press F to destroy ten buildings at once', tons of weapons carried at the same time and enemies that can take rocket on the face and stay alive. And what shooter isn't repetitive? It's shooter - you shoot stuff and then shoot some more.

#1 Any mid end PC build today will probably run Rage on high to max settings. I've played it year ago without any problems or graphic bugs.
