I cant open dota just blank and back to menu

im from indo . i cant open dota 2 just blank black and no music or viewer that come back to menu . plis someone help me :'(

what have you Tried with your Dota 2? its possible that it may of been corrupted its common with Steam games and apps and some times Mods tho mods your more at terms of finding a conflicting mod as aposed to a mod that refuses to let you load a game or the mod itself. but i've seen a few mods do this any way.


have you Tried Reinstalling Dota 2? or talking to a Steam Rep? both should work also i know this is a common thing for me when i had an old ass pc that was so far gone that my games refused to play and if they did play it would take up to 6 hours to play or they would be put on an infinite "load screen" where it would say for Example.


(Loading Skyrim....) (disapears tries to launch ) (Game is already running please try again) (reapeats again and again ) for me what i needed was to update my Computer of which i eventually bought a Pre built $900 PC which solved my problem. soo if the above doesn't work and Steam Reps don't help or solve your problem you may have to do this or find a way to update your Java PhysX Adobe Reader and your Flash player Most if not All games from my knowledge uses these files to process allot of information that the developers designed around these software add ons that you can download. i can give you the list of where to Download these that are Safe no idea how to translate it into Indo for you but i can send you the links to the websites themselves for you to download. i had to sennd these to one of my friends on here who had no idea what was causing his PC to act up so much and apparently thats what it was for me at the moment my only issue is Framerate /processing so i'll be giving my PC a complete overhaul since i hardly know what is in this rig any way since i didn't build it myslf and thats what i want even tho i am having Tech geeks that i work with finish it for me :)


any way back to your Q look into updating the following
Java
PhysX
Adobe Reader
Adobe Flash Player

(Re install Dota 2) as in Delete it off your list and reinstall it you will still have it Steam Keeps Track of all purchases on your account be it from a Retailer or from Steam itself so by default you technically own the game already so theirs no use in buying it again unless you want to for your friends.

do you know how to Check what file name that they are on as in the ones i mentioned

Java should be if i remember right should be 8 update 45 as its current
Adobe Flash player should be i think 11 or 12 might be higher now considering i last modified that file as of 2 years ago so that i need to update XD but should be between 11-13 if i am remembering right bot this and the reader
Adobe Reader (optional if you intend to use PDF Files.)
Physx should be 12 or better (always updates to lates provided you update your graphics driver every month if you don't know the brand unlug your rig and u should see the graphics card (Use youtube for refrence its pretty easy to find it the name/brand/model should be easy to tell if you can't just get the Serial number and look it up you can commonly find them with the manufcature posting the make and model of your graphics card of which you should use to search in your Search menu on ur PC for mod files and make sure that you have it up to date at all times in the off chance that you don't do this.

www.Adobe.com if you don't Trust the link i wouldn't blame you just type it in or Google/Bing/Search engin it when you find their officially page on the Top Right corner you'll see a thing say "Adobe" click that then hit Search. then type (Adobe Flash player) however if you have Windows 8 you don't need to do this considering that is always up to date.


if you have a Nividia brand or any brand graphics card your physX should be up to date provided that you Regularly update any and all patches that comes out for it.

Lastly www.Java.com (Look for this as the official page) if you find it it should say "Java + You+ along with Java in red/white in the upper left corner ish you'll see a button that as free download from their go to Start Free download click run "close all Web browsers including the one you used to find Java/Adobe Flash player its the same set up for both it will run a test to see if theirs a file that shares a same name with it that is an older version that older version is thus removed/deleted if found or didn't delete properly .
