Which do you own, Fallout: New Vegas or Fallout: New Vegas - Ultimate Edition?

The latter doesn't get titled differently, but it may not be recognized as 'Fallout: New Vegas' on the Steam Store. It does however include the DLCs already, so buying those isn't necessary.

Interesting,

Does the problem happen on both the Steam -client and the web-browser -side?

Try the Steam Store directly on your Steam -client.

Can't buy "new" dlcs too ("you need fnv first")... Finished the game before any of those came up and now i want to go another one, heavilly modded, but a lot of those modes i want need those dlcs. I guess i've got what i deserved, buying collectors edition... No dlc for me, nono...

I have the same problem. Over 100 hours of Fallout and can't buy not even onde DLC. I do not own the ultimate edition. I tried buying trough the steam client, trough the browser, restarting steam, restarting the computer, buying trough the mobile application. Hell, I even tried getting Yes Man to fix it to me. When I totally ran out of options, I wrote the great steam support - but I doubt they will answer me this month

They won't answer... They don't care...

Have you bought it on Steam, or did you buy it from an unauthorized reseller?

Of course I bought it on steam. I have 100 hours of it and steam achievments.

Since Fallout New Vegas is a Steamworks titles, even retail copies must activate on Steam, hence my question.
My reason is, there are effectively two versions of Fallout New Vegas, the International version and the Russian version. The DLCs for those versions are separate and only compatible to the specific version.
That means, if you somehow got a russian version, be it through a trade or from an unauthorized reseller, you also would need the russian DLCs as the International version one's are not compatible.

I will check if I bought the game when I lived in Russia or not
