Assassin's Creed Season Pass Activation Key

I just bought Assassin's Creed III Deluxe Edition, Benedict Arnold DLC and the Season Pass. When I get to the Uplay interface, I input both the Deluxe Edirion and Benedict Arnold keys that the Steam App gave me, without problem. But when I tried to input the Season Pass key, I got an error saying it wasn't a game or a valid season pass, or some such.

Is there a separate point when I'll need to input this key to get the Season pass benefits? Or where should I input it?

How do I use my Season Pass for Assassin's Creed III on PC?
Full details of what is available in the Season Pass can be found here[assassinscreed.ubi.com].

Please follow the steps below to activate the Season Pass:

1. Launch the game in “Online Mode” by ensuring that Uplay PC is not set to "Start in Offline" mode (information on finding this option can be found here[support.ubi.com]).

2. On the Main Menu, go to the “Extras” section.

3. Click “Redeem Code”

4. Enter the code exactly as it is provided in your email (you cannot copy/paste).
Please note, if you have the Digital Deluxe release of the game you need to enter your activation key here. 

5. The Assassin’s Creed® III Season Pass is now unlocked!

Note: Deluxe Edition owners will get the first downloadable content pack immediately. If you’re just a Season Pass owner you will receive the first downloadable content pack on the regular release date.

An email notification will be sent to you with instructions on how to install each upcoming downloadable content pack when it is released. You will receive a download link and a key to activate your content!
