Payments to Steam blocked in malaysia
maybank malaysia blocked payments to steam .. now ppl have no choice to either get debit or credit cards from other banks or get steam wallet cards ..
steam please look into it and get urself unblocked from maybak .. they claim tht steam is high risk website for data compromise !!

Yes true, and i dont trust this bank anymore and i also don't trust ECLUB, so i will stop buying anything until i open another account or until they stop being rude to their customers.

Maybe a lot of people have done charge back while trading so the bank don't know who to trust.

no maybank said abut security .. it is i think about that MSOS thing maybank employed a somthing called 3D security which steam dont use ..
but funnything i dont see any option on M2u for MSOS for me :P

Damn, I just noticed it tonight while trying to buy BL2. Screw this... I'm not going to buy those so called "game cards" and MOL-points which will cost you extra.

Man, I miss paying by Paypal.

Link your bank account to your PayPal and then top up account. Or just add a credit/debit card and pay that way.

This is unnecessary broad stroking from Maybank but I also urge Steam to look into this matter and sort the issue with them. Unless Valve is comfortable with their client being labelled as a high-risk merchant with allegedly poor data security by the largest financial group in Malaysia.

Agreed. Steam wallet code is so much more expensive to buy with the current goods and services tax.
