The Steam Wallet verification thing is ridiculously stupid.
So I am saving up for an M4A4 Howl on CS:GO and made 2 payments with my debit card yesterday to find that I have to verify 2 amounts they sent me to my account. Except.. My bank automatically converts USD to AUD and I rang my bank up and asked them to convert them. I then entered the numbers into steam and the values were WRONG. It's stupid. I entered 3 attempts already and now have to wait 4 more days to buy my howl. But I get this every single time I purchase steam wallet funds even though Steam has already verified my card when I signed up to steam. I never used to have this issue. I need advice.

Once a card is verified, it stays verified. I do have to ask, if your bank is giving you the wrong numbers, how did you verify the first time?

I thought after I attach my card, it is verified to steam. I never had to do the number thing to put my card on my account until I started purchasing wallet funds in the past few months.

I believe card verification is relatively new. Unfortunately, until you successfully confirm the amounts, this will occur every time you try to use the card on Steam. I'm sorry.
I'm Australian. I can't verify them. Many people from different countries can't.

It's an anti-fraud measure unfortunately. You may be better off buying Steam wallet codes or paying via PayPal.
