Steam has a problem with USB Headsets? Or is it just me?
Basically the title. I have 2 pairs of headsets, both Razer, one is the Kraken 7.1 USB headset (the sound is better on this one and the mic is better as well) and the other one is the Razer Blacksharks (the blacksharks are my old headset and they are analog with a jack that plugs into the 3.5mm sockets on my pc/keyboard). I've noticed that some games don't work at all with the Kraken (or any other USB headset for that matter) while those same games will work for my blacksharks. I've tried so many 'fixes' I've found through google and none help so I was posting here in hopes of someone having a solution.

Some 'solutions' I've tried

-Disabling all other sound devices
-Disabling Razer Synapse and starting the game
-Changing to ANY of the games in game sound options (tried em all; none work)
-Running Steam as an administrator
-Reinstalling Direct X 9
-Many other options I can't remember right now

Games that the USB headset won't work on that I've tried out so far
-Batman Arkham Origins
-Resident Evil 5 (Although I suspect it's because this game in general doesn't work, but I'll still list it)
-Max Payne 3

That's out of ~150 games. So while the problem isn't huge, it's a little annoying and I'd like to try and fix it.

Thanks for reading so much and thanks for attempting to help if you do. Best of luck.
