How big is the initial download for the fre gift Torchlight 2

Hi I just got Torchlite 2 Gift download & have hideous download speed till the 18th. I was wondering does anyone know how many gigs the initial download is.Thanks so I know if I need to buy more the 3 gigs on the 18th to get it downloaded. it keeps on timing out but 30KBS on steam is never enough? Does anyone know of a way to get internet downloader to take over this snail download.
Thanks for any help on this download I gave up on steam Because I am in Thailand right now & it is nothing like California . Their advertised speed is about 3% of what they say it is.

The Steam directory/folder on my computer for Torchlight 2 is 1.71GB

and reading the store page for Torchlight 2... waaay down at the bottom where it says SYSTEM Requirements.. it says:

Hard Disk Space: 1.7GB free space (subject to change)
