Dota 2: did not receive a notification of receipt of the gift, in the steam inventory gift there.

Yesterday I was faced with this problem. I was not online on steam at this moment my friend decided to send me a wrapped gift, when I went on steam, then in my inventory there was this wrapped gift. Then I went to Dota 2, but notification of the receipt of the gift I have not received, that is in the Dota 2 I don't have this gift. I told about this problem to his friend, and he sent me another wrapped gift, but at this point I was in the steam network. The gift was received quickly. It turns out that if you're not online on steam, the gifts that you send only remain in the steam inventory? May be the receipt of the gift will come after some time? Do I have hope to receive notification of receipt of the gift, because in the steam inventory this gift is?

It's a common issue right now that the gift wrap items don't appear in the game. Try re-verifying your Game Cache Files by right mouse clicking DOTA 2 -> Properties -> Local Files -> <Verify Integrity of Game Cache>

Did everything, checked cache all the files were successfully tested. Now go to the dota 2 maybe the gift will come.
