Steam Support Not Working
Hello i have problem i trade 4 ref metal for hat with new system of trading by email confirmation and person who i traded have my metal but i dont recive any hat and when i click on my mail and want send again steam offer or cancel trade it say its not posible , i log in on my steam support account and i want send ticket to valve but i stuck on step 1 , i choose topic i want but the site not let me go to step 2 or 3 and i try on my alternate web browser but is the same problem .Any sugestions ?

As for the problem
Does the hat show up in http://steamcommunity.com/my/inventoryhistory ?

If it does, try manually re-synchronizing your Steam inventory by adding something on the Steam Market at http://steamcommunity.com/market/ and then remove the listing immediately after.

As for the Steam Support issue
You need to type in the Step 1 box, then click the banner.

This is not steam market issue , THI IS trade in steam tf2 iterms problem , when i click fIrst link from you my steam trade history showing up wt... ? i show you screenshot what i have in my steam support

I wasn't claiming it's a Steam Market issue, I was saying that listing and unlisting an item can manually re-synchronize your Steam inventory

Again, do you have the hat in the inventoryhistory? If you do, it's an inventory -synchronization issue, therefore try the Market (un-)+listing.

As for the picture: I knew what you meant; if you can't type in the box - you've probably got NoScript or the like blocking that part of the website.

Nop i dont have the hat in my steam history trade i have only notification about this trade on my email , but i dont have this trade in my steam history trade and the person i traded have my metal

Ok my brother show me sory for problem i thout it was for clicking to choose like old times but now i have to write on keyboard my product , but still i send ticket to valve with my missing hat thatnks case closed have a nice day .

Then it's probable your computer was compromised.

Instead of 'Item Bugs', I'd list the ticket under 'Stolen/Hijacked Items';

You probably clicked some image link that was actually a masked redirection URL that led to a download parameter suffix enabled URL; like one ending with &dl=1 where dl is an acronym for download and 1 is binary code for enabled.

  1. I'd recommend scanning the computer with an antivirus* & antimalware scan in safemode
    1. First download & install Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware at http://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mbam/

  2. Head over to
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\
    Remove everything EXCEPT
    1. Steam.exe
    2. SteamApps -folder
    3. userdata -folder
    4. ssfn[numbersequence] -file
    Re-launch Steam.exe (this should take care of any possibly infected .VDF files and validate your Steam -client files.)

After that, register a Steam Support account at https://support.steampowered.com/register.php
-> Create a Steam Support ticket at https://support.steampowered.com/newticket.php

Fill out the ticket similarly:
Step 1
What product are you having an issue with?
  • Steam
What type of problem are you having?
  • Steam Trading/In-Game Items
  • Stolen/Hijacked Items
Step 2
  • Subject: <Enter topic title, can be as something simple as 'Hijacked account'>
  • Your Question: <Enter what happened here; Steam Support can likely figure out from the mass more or less what happened, but information doesn't hurt.>
    1. Add attachment <for providing Proof of Ownership <- Clickable; if necessary>

Now wait 2-4 weeks; there's no official ETA - but that's how long it generally takes for them to respond right now.

Hello everyone my problem not finish yet i send ticket to steam support with 3 screenshoots(trade history , email confirmation , trade offer error) and i get answear 7 days later , problem i still have , i dont get my metal back and i dont get hat i pay for , trade was done true email confirmation we together confirmed our trade , He get my metal i dont get his hat .

This wery strange or lag or bug or something but i dont have this trade on my steam trade history on my profile steam , i have only this trade confirmation on my email adress and i have only screenshoot trade offer error this trade , normaly when i got trade error i dont lost my metal or item i trade .
This answear from steam support means i cant get back hat i pay for ?
What should i do write the new ticket with same words or maybe i have to do something more ?

They are sending this formula too all people which were scammed or robbed. It's not that easy to get skins back like before.

What items were shown in the trade window when accepting?
Sory for late answear i just wake up i can send here screenshoot i can put it on imgur and give link to it , when we accept email confirmation together on emails , my 4 Refined Metal for his hat Hong Kong Cone (Team Fortress2 items ) but i get steam trade offer window with this items and text in center : " Items are not able to trade anymore " and dont get green envelope notification on my steam profile that i have 1 new item in my inventory this hat , but my new friend got my metal for it like i said earlier because i ask him if he get my metal couse i dont have his hat and he said he have my 4 refs .
