! HELP !Cant Run Steam it says "Program too big to fit in memory"

So,here is the problem
i open steam and update it .but when the steam extracting package of the update my computer suddenly got restarted by itself,after it turning on to windows i start the steam again,but it wont start and the cmd "thingys" popup and says program too big to fit in memory

can anyone help me to fix this problem ;-;?

How much disk space do you have left?

If it actually means RAM, do check your task manager -> CTRL + ALT + DELETE.

Anyway, how much RAM do you have? Total & available.

Hmm, can you try to reinstall the client? Don't remove the SteamApps -folder.

1. You can try to re-validate the client by navigating yourself to

   C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\

2. Remove everything except
   
   • Steam.exe
     
   • SteamApps -folder
     
   • userdata -folder
     
   • ssfn(number sequence) -file
   
   
3. Re-launch Steam

If that won't work; move your SteamApps -folder elsewhere; uninstall Steam through the uninstall.exe file in

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam

and download the client back from

• Steam for Windows

Then place the SteamApps -folder back in the new Steam -folder.
