Copying a single game?
So I know it's possible to copy all games from one system to another easily, but is it possible to just copy a single game? I want to install shadow of mordor, but my internet is terrible but I don't want to leave my computer on in my room overnight because it's too loud and keeps me awake. If I just download it onto an external hard drive through my laptop could I just somehow copy it from there to my desktop? I've tried it with a few smaller games and it didn't seem to do anything, but I might be doing something wrong.

You can use the built-in backup feature, or copy the game directory along with the acf file. The acf file has the game id in its name, which you can find out from the store page link or from here: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Steam_Application_IDs

I'm no yank. And even I know Comcast are awful.
