DIsabling webhelper.exe
This Webhelper taking too much of RAM and it have 3-5 process running, takes about 200-400MB RAM each...Normally,It take 60MB per process but when i connect to dota game server,it raised to 400MB RAM Utilization...And i'm experiencing high fps drop in dota(May be due to shortage of RAM)...Is there anyway to Disbale this webhelper..

i don't know what TCP means & i don't know what it is, can this even mess with steam connection?

BDW is 2-3 updates row after awry few minutes abnormal? or was it something to do with broadcast

today, right new there seem to be no issues with steam, i had it opened 5min

You don't have to know what it means. Just start Steam with -TCP as parameter.

i wonder how steam game sys works, if i install a game or buy trough steam & 1 day half to get new PC for example, if i install steam & log in it will download & install my games automatically without me half to buy game again at least when it comes to game i got trough steam? & the games do not require key cause it is REG in steam acc? & reinstalling game got from store does not ask key second time cause its also REG in steam? just asking out of curiosity

so i can install & uninstall all games what i got trough steam & i don't half to buy the again? & games gotten from stores i can i can download trough steam or use my DVD & it also does not ask key cause i had it installed in past?

in morning i figured out how to do it, i half to write "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" -tcp", i mean i need to write -tcp" at the end

This parameter was programmed by Valve so no, other programs don't have it. Or maybe they have if their makes programmed it. Or something different.
You should get in contact with the support of Touchup.exe whatever that is.

Touchup.exe has something to do with Origin, a program what comes with Bioware & EA Games, Origin is similar to steam in 2 ways, it stores game data like achievements & other stuff & u can buy games with it

steamwebhelper.exe nightmare
Does anyone here have any knowledge on how to permanently STOP "steamwebhelper.exe" I have removed it from the Registry, it reinstalls itself instantly, I shut it down with a 3rd Party .exe blocker and it continues to try and re-execute, eventually crashing the machine. The process is ANNOYING as it often launches 2, 3 or even 4 additional processes as well as it is a RAM hog.

From what I understand ALL this stupid process does is, when you use steam chat it brings up a dumb alert window after you click a link to a website in your chat Dialogue. I REALLY hope they drop this from steam or have a way to shut this stupid process down PERMANENTLY!

Steamwebhelper.exe are needed for steam functionality. The processes are directly connected to steam features such as steam community, steam store etc.

It's completely normal to have 3 of them running at the same time.
