Steam Files Everywhere on Desktop. Need some help!
Hey so, whenever I update Steam or try to open it, and it updates I get a bunch of Steam files all over my desktop. I realize I must have chosen the destination for files to be on the desktop, but I actually really don't want that. I tried putting all the Steam files in a folder, some of them don't go in though. Then I open Steam again, and they all pop up on my desktop again.

Does anyone know how to re-pick the destination for the Steam files to be put in? Without having to un-install or re-install Steam?

-Many thanks, Tricky<3

you are starting a steam.exe on the desktop not a shortcut.
go to the steam folder make a new shortcut for your desk.

How might I be able to find the true Steam folder? I'm not sure which it is, since there's a bunch when I search for it.

Still having problems. Not sure what to do with all the files that keep popping up whenever I load Steam/Update. =/ It's really annoying.
