Buying a game while traveling

I want to buy Banished before the weekend sale ends. I live in the UK, although I am currently in Sweden for a short while. I need to check the "I verify that I live in Sweden" box to continue to checkout; however I do not live in Sweden. Should I still check this box and continue, or should I cry because I can not get the game while it is on sale.

This worked at first. I was taken to the Swedish Paypal page, where I was able to enter my details and continue back on to Steam. When clicking purchase an unexpected error occured.

I will check my balances and ensure nothing has been taken. If not I will try again before contacting Steam support.

Support can take a few weeks to reply, so the sale will be long over by then. But you can always wait for the next sale.

Yep it is on sale regularly both here and Humble Bundle.

That's great news, I checked Humble Bundle and Indiegala to see if they had the game on sale too but they did not. I am sure they will soon though.

http://isthereanydeal.com/ is a good site to bookmark. They show deals from trusted resellers and you can import your Steam wishlist there so they can notify you by e-mail every time games are on sale.

I believe Humble Bundle has a sale on Banished at the moment. I am unsure if you are in the same situation I was in, being in another country but wanting to buy a game. Or that you just live in another country and want the game.
