ESO Installation: "prerequisites"
So I just bought elder scrolls online and when I'm about to install this the installation options window appears telling me if i want to download DirektX and/or VC++ 2010 Redistributable..

but what the heck is "VC++ 2010 Redistributable" Why should I install this? It is recommended to install this?

VC++ is the language they used to write the game, so you'll need the VC++ Redistributable to play it. A lot of other games use it as well, so you won't need to install it if you already have it. You can check if you have it under Programs and Features in the control panel. You've probably already resolved this, but I'll reply anyway in case anyone else has the same question.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
