What are the rules on Real World Trading?
So I've heard Valve has no stance on it but if you get scammed they might not help, but apart from scam risk could you get banned for selling TF2 items for real world cash?

Thanks.

It's not explicitly forbidden, but trading outside the system negates any security. If anything happens, Valve won't help you. Keep in mind that receiving items without trading anything in return and then getting reported for scams doesn't look good for you as Valve cannot see what happened in chat (they don't save logs) or what you agreed to pay for the items.

Trading outside the system is entirely your risk and generally not worth it.

So it's risky but not something you will get in trouble for?

Cheers.

In that case, beware of chargebacks.
