You can buy the game physically too, as it activates through Steam.
I meant it in terms of it adding to your already existing friend slots.

Do note that in your case, seeing as you own 0 retail licenses; a microtransaction will not suffice.
Maybe you're seeing a different page than I do, but my version says
I don't think it will enable community market, though. Maybe it's just going to unlimit the account; one should check the market restriction page for information on that.
