I'm looking for a game similiar to Spectral Force Genesis, which in itself got horrible reviews. But it's setup was very interesting and numerous.

I guess what I'm mainly looking for is a game that allows you to have that ability to play as one of various nations and choose how to deal with it's nation and rulers when defeated. I always loved deciding who to execute and who to free haha.

Civilization is very close so I guess I'm trying to find games similar to that setup as well, but perhaps more options in how to deal with or communicate with AI powers

And not talking about the in debt detailed like the one from Pandora and toatal wars type. But simple gameplay, conquest and with story

And sad about SFG, if only there wasn't the max 400 troop limite, conquering other nations wouldn't be a massive waste of time (due to castle walls)
