had a power cut, games now claim to be uninstalled
Had a power cut last night while installing a game and now most of my steam games that were installed now claim to be uninstalled but all the files are still there and the launchers still on my desktop. anyone have an explanation why or had something similar?

Sometimes Steam just forgets it has games installed. You power cut didnt help.

Just click the install game button in your library and steam will rediscover files and update any it needs to.

it just starts installing 118mb/11.3gb it doesnt seem to recognise it has any files installed

Try uninstalling and reinstalling. Or 'Delete local content'.
